About Nourhan
I enjoy helping students build a deeper understanding of the Qur’an through Arabic, whether they are complete beginners or advanced learners. I teach Modern Standard Arabic, conversation, grammar, reading and writing, as well as Qur’an recitation, Tajweed, memorization, and Qira’at. My lessons are structured and step-by-step, but always adapted to your level, pace, and needs. I balance clear explanations with practical application, encourage you to speak and participate actively, and focus more on using what you learn than simply memorizing it. My approach is calm, patient, and supportive, especially when explaining difficult grammar or improving Qur’an recitation. I have 6+ years of teaching experience and specialize in curricula for Qur’an, Islamic Studies, and Arabic language for non-native speakers. I hold qualifications in teaching Arabic to non-native speakers and Ijazat in the Ten Qira’at, and I can support students in Arabic, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
